Eliza Mather

Eliza was born in September 1838 in Whitefield.¹

Eliza's father was John Mather and her mother was Lucy Hilton. Her paternal grandparents were James Madther and Mary Walker. She had five brothers and six sisters, named Lewis, Wilson, James, John, Thomas, Mary, Sally, Jane, Alice, Rachel and Elizabeth. Eliza and Jane were twins. She died before 1841.

General Notes
- Twins Eliza and Jane are indexed as MMN = FITTON on Lanc-BMD, and likewise ALICE in 1838 (who was with the family in 1841). It appears that the mothers name was HILTON, but probably difficult to read.
