Mary Mather

Mary was born in May 1829 in Bolton and her baptism took place on May 10th, 1829 at St. Peter's (Bolton).^1 2

Mary's father was Thomas Mather and her mother was Margaret Tyldsley.  Her paternal grandparents were Charles Mather and Alice Lever. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Charles, William, James, Thomas, Alice, Alice and Elizabeth.  She was the second oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 42 in 1871 in Bolton.³

  There are several Mary Thornley deaths.  This is the closest age match, but was she "Mary Ann" ?

‌Mary and Jeremiah were married in a religious ceremony on November 30th, 1851 at St. Mary (Deane).⁴   The family line is yet to be completed.
