James Mather

James was born in 1837 in Bolton.¹

James' father was Thomas Mather and his mother was Margaret Tyldsley.  His paternal grandparents were Charles Mather and Alice Lever. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Charles, William, Thomas, Mary, Alice, Alice and Elizabeth.  He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 9 in June 1846 in Bolton.  He was buried on June 17th, 1846.
