Alice Mather

Alice was born in December 1843 in Bolton.¹

Alice's father was Thomas Mather and her mother was Margaret Tyldsley. Her paternal grandparents were Charles Mather and Alice Lever. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Charles, William, James, Thomas, Mary, Nancy and Elizabeth. She was the seventh oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 53 in 1896 in Prestwich.²
