Alice (Nancy) Mather

Alice, known as Nancy, was born in June 1839 in Bolton and her baptism took place on June 16th, 1839 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

Nancy's father was Thomas Mather and her mother was Margaret Tyldsley. Her paternal grandparents were Charles Mather and Alice Lever. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Charles, William, James, Thomas, Mary, Alice and Elizabeth. She was the fifth oldest of the eight children. She died as an infant at the age of 1 in October 1840 in Bolton. Her burial was on October 26th, 1840 at St. Peter's (Bolton).²³
