Mary Mather

Mary was born in June 1854 in Elton.¹

Mary's father was Solomon Mather and her mother was Jane Scowcroft. Her paternal grandparents were Solomon Mather and Mary (Mally) Grime. She had a brother and seven sisters, named Samuel, Elizabeth, Mary, Alice, Martha, Nancy, Margaret and Rachel. She was the eighth oldest of the nine children. She died in June 1854 in Elton.¹
