Louisa was born in January 1865 in Halliwell.1  Louisa's father was Thomas Mather and her mother was Mary Ann Beswick.  Her paternal grandparents were Holt Mather and Alice Vickers. She had two brothers and four sisters, named John, Thomas, Sevina, Ann, Jane and Alice.  She was the second youngest of the seven children. She had a half-brother named Robert.  She died at 1 months old in February 1865 in Halliwell.  She was buried in February 1865 at St. Peter (Halliwell).2 1
