Jenny was born about 1764 in Radcliffe.  Jenny's father was James Mather and her mother was Mary Pendlebury. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Miles, John, Thomas, James, Ann, Betty, Martha, Alice and Sally.  She was the fourth youngest of the ten children.  She died in May 1769 in Radcliffe.  She was buried on May 3rd, 1769 at St. Mary (Radcliffe).1 2
