Jane was baptised Jane France in 1812, a bastard child. Her mother Elizabeth married John Mather, a weaver the following year.
Jane was 28 in 1841, living at Stoney Brow, Tottington with her mother Elizabeth (and step-father Joseph Harden). She was gone by 1851, probably married (as no matching death).
The only marriage for Jane, daughter of John Mather is at Deane in 1843. 8 Oct 1843, Jane Mather, daughter of John Mather, a weaver, married John (weaver) son of John Wallis (brick maker), both of Rumworth. This Jane was 32 in 1851 so probably it isnt her.
