Henry Mather

Henry was born in 1820 in WestLeigh and his baptism took place on March 5th, 1820 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Leigh).¹²

Henry's father was Henry Mather and his mother was Alice Boardman. His paternal grandparents were Henry Mather and Betty Keele. He had a brother and four sisters, named John, Betty, Mary, Ann and Hannah. He was the fourth oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 57 in September 1877 in Leigh.³
