George Mather

George was born in June 1862 in Bolton.¹

Birth Notes

George's father was John Mather and his mother was Elizabeth Coop. His paternal grandparents were William Mather and Elizabeth (Betty) Farrand. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, James, Alice, Mary and Ellen. He was the youngest of the six children.
