Alice Mather

Alice's father was John Mather and her mother was Elizabeth Coop.  Her paternal grandparents were William Mather and Elizabeth (Betty) Farrand. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, James, George, Mary and Ellen.  She was the second oldest of the six children.  She died at the age of 1 in 1855 in Westhoughton.¹
