Francis Mather

Francis was born on February 9th, 1832 in Whitefield and his baptism took place on April 20th, 1832 at All Saints (Stand).¹²

Francis' father was James Chadwick Mather and his mother was Sarah Charlton. His paternal grandparents were Francis Mather and Elizabeth Chadwick. He had four brothers and two sisters, named John, Sarah, James, Thomas, Ann and Elizabeth. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 70 on September 24th, 1902 in Prestwich. His burial was in September 1902 in Whitefield.¹
