Ellen Mather

Ellen was born in April 1753 in Warrington and her baptism took place on April 13th, 1753 at St. Elphin (Warrington).¹

Ellen's father was John Mather and her mother was Ellen Blinstone.  Her maternal grandparents were Richard Blinstone and Margaret (?). She had eight brothers and two sisters, named Samuel, John, Thomas, Richard, Peter, Ralph, Joseph, Isaac, Margaret and Emma.

  Ellen did not die at Warrington in 1808.  That was a daughter of John and Ellen (also a butcher), aged 3y 6mo.
