Ralph was born in March 1745 in Warrington and his baptism took place on March 10th, 1745 at St. Elphin (Warrington).1  Ralph's father was John Mather and his mother was Ellen Blinstone.  His maternal grandparents were Richard Blinstone and Margaret (?). He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, John, Thomas, Richard, Peter, Joseph, Isaac, Margaret, Ellen and Emma.  He died at the age of 80 in October 1825 in Warrington.  He was buried on October 9th, 1825 at St. Elphin (Warrington).




Ralph's first family with Margaret Boss

‌Ralph and Margaret were married in a religious ceremony on April 3rd, 1768 at St. Elphin (Warrington).1  They had a daughter named Betty.


Ralph's second family with Martha Houghton

‌Ralph and Martha were married in a religious ceremony on October 11th, 1789 at St. Elphin (Warrington).1  They had a son and a daughter, named Isaac and Barbara.  There are no more children.
