Ellen did not die at Warrington in 1808.  That was a daughter of John and Ellen (also a butcher), aged 3y 6mo.

Note: There is another John born Dec 1770, son of Jeffery, a Gardiner and Ellen Mather of Warrington. However, that John probably died young as thay had another John born 11 Jun 1780.
