Betty Mather

Betty was born in 1859 in Walmersley.¹

Betty's father was Thomas Mather and her mother was Mary Ann (Martha) Jane Bolton. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Barlow and Betty (Elizabeth) Mather. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Robert, Isaac, Mary, Mary and Maria. She was the fifth oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 34 in September 1893 in Bury.²
