Alice Mather

Alice was born in April 1815 in Blackrod and her baptism took place on April 23rd, 1815 at St. Katherine (B'rod).¹

Alice's father was Thomas Mather and her mother was Hannah (Ann) Holt. Her paternal grandparents were John Mather and Ann Entwistle. She had three brothers and a sister, named John, Henry, Thomas and Hannah. She was the third oldest of the five children.
