Agnes Mather

Agnes was born on April 1st, 1897.  Agnes' father was James Tonge (aka Mather) and her mother was Mary Ann Ashall.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Tonge and Agnes Wane. She had three brothers and a sister, named Thomas, James, Joseph and Mary.  She was the second oldest of the five children. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named James, Agnes and Margaret.  She died at the age of 89 in November 1986 in Sefton.¹
