Nicholas Makinson

Nicholas was born in 1822 in Blackrod and his baptism took place there on January 6th, 1822.¹

Birth Notes

Nicholas' father was James Makinson and his mother was Betty Mather. His maternal grandparents were John Mather and Ann Entwistle. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Hugh, John, George, George, Richard, Mary, Ann, Elizabeth and Alice. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children.
