Sarah was born on November 16th, 1828 in Harthill.1  Sarah's father was William Lea and her mother was Jane Stubbs. She had three brothers and six sisters, named John, Thomas, Charles, Sarah, Frances, Mina, Emma, Anne and Jane.  She was the sixth oldest of the ten children. She had a half-brother named William.  She died at the age of 55 on February 21st, 1884 in Victoria (Au).  Her burial was in February 1884 in Victoria (Au).
