John Lea

John was born in 1820 and his baptism took place on March 5th, 1820 at All Saints, Harthill.¹   John's father was William Lea and his mother was Jane Stubbs. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named Thomas, Charles, Sarah, Frances, Mina, Emma, Sarah, Anne and Jane.  He was the oldest of the ten children. He had a half-brother named William.  He died at the age of 75 in September 1895 in Tranmere.²
