Agnes Ann Kay

Agnes was born on November 23rd, 1868 at Egerton and her baptism took place on March 15th, 1885 in Darwen.¹²

Agnes' father was Ralph Mather and her mother was Ann Mayoh. Her paternal grandparents were John Mather and Jane Entwistle. She had five brothers and a sister, named John, James, Ralph, Alfred, Thomas and Emma. She was the sixth oldest of the seven children. She had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named James, Margaret, Jane and Margery. She died at the age of 77 in October 1946 in Darwen.³
