Esther was born in March 1862 in Bolton.¹

Birth Notes

Esther's father was Henry Isherwood and her mother was Sophia Mather. Her maternal grandparents were Joseph Mather and Betty (Elizabeth) Cooper. She had four sisters named Mary, Alice, Margaret and Elizabeth. She was the second youngest of the five children. She died at the age of 64 in 1926.
