Jane Hurst

Jane was born in 1843 in Stalybridge.¹ Jane's father was Thomas Hurst and her mother was Ann Brereton. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Bruerton and Ann Vickers. She had a brother and three sisters, named James, Sarah, Hannah and Elizabeth. She was the second oldest of the five known children.
