Martha Howarth

Martha was born in January 1840 in Westhoughton.¹

Martha's father was John Howarth and her mother was Ellen Bullough.  Her paternal grandparents were Adam Howarth and Ann Aspinall. She had two brothers and seven sisters, named Adam, John, Ann, Alice, Elizabeth, Pamela, Ellen, Rachel and Martha.  She was the fourth oldest of the ten children.  She died at the age of 4 in March 1844 in Bolton.¹
