John Hopley 
John was born in 1856 in Stoke upon Trent.1 John's father was Randle (Robert) Dod-Hopley and his mother was Mariane (Mary Ann) Broomfield. His paternal grandparents were Robert Dod-Hopley and Ann Hopley. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Robert, Charles, William, John, Mary and Mary. He was the third oldest of the seven children.General Notes
John was recorded as Grandson in 1861, so father could be another brothers (i.e. John), although Randle (aka Robert) appears to be the only one to have married and had a family.
