Elizabeth's father was Joseph Hopley and her mother was Elizabeth (Betty) Perry.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Hopley and Cicely (Cecilla) Johnson. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named George, John, George, Joseph, Mary, Hannah, Cecily, Cecily, Anne, Mary and Martha.  She died at the age of 9 in October 1813 in Bickley.  She was buried on October 8th, 1813 in Malpas.
