Cecily Hopley

Cecily was born in June 1802 in Bickley and her baptism took place on June 15th, 1802 in Malpas.¹

Cecily's father was Joseph Hopley and her mother was Elizabeth (Betty) Perry.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Hopley and Cicely (Cecilla) Johnson. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named George, John, George, Joseph, Mary, Hannah, Cecily, Elizabeth, Anne, Mary and Martha.  Cecily and George were twins.  She died at the age of 51 in December 1853 in Tattenhall.  She was buried on December 6th, 1853 in Tattenhall.¹

‌Cecily and William were married in a religious ceremony on November 27th, 1824 at St. Oswalds (Malpas).²   The family line is yet to be completed.
