Anne was born in 1810 in Bickley and her baptism took place on January 14th, 1810 in Malpas.1  Anne's father was Joseph Hopley and her mother was Elizabeth (Betty) Perry.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Hopley and Cicely (Cecilla) Johnson. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named George, John, George, Joseph, Mary, Hannah, Cecily, Cecily, Elizabeth, Mary and Martha.
