Thomas was born in April 1843 in Darwen.¹

Birth Notes

Thomas' father was Edmund Holden and his mother was Sarah Mather. His maternal grandparents were James Mather and Rachel Hamer. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Elijah, Richard, George, Ann, Alice, Rachel and Sarah. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died as an infant in April 1843 in Over Darwen. He was buried on April 7th, 1843 in Over Darwen.²¹
