Matthew Gledhill

Matthew was born on April 5th, 1821 in Berry Brow. Matthew's father was Matthew Gledhill and his mother was Betty Stocks. His paternal grandparents were Matthew Gledhill and Susannah (Susy) Dawson; his maternal grandparents were George Stocks and Mary Blackburn. He had three brothers and two sisters, named David, <male>, Hamor, Esther and Ruth. He was the fifth oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 82 on September 10th, 1903 in USA.¹
