General Notes
David was baptised at the Independant by Buddersfield. Before then, there a family by Parents Matthew and Susanah Geldhill with baptisms here, so David my be from a different (older) Matthew, and from his second marriage.
In 1841, David a woollen weaver and Hannah (35 & 30) were at Berry Brow with Lucy and Mary (9 & 5). David had died and Hannah (i.e. Ann) remarried.
In 1851, David's daughters Lucy and Mary (19 & 14) were still at 1493 Berry Brow but with step-parents John and Ann Riley.
A David Gledhill, born about 1803 married Jane Taylor at Almondbury in 1852. His father was James.
