From 1779 to after 1787 Matthew's occupation was Clothier in Berry Brow.2
Matthew and Susy were married in a religious ceremony on December 14th, 1788 in Almondbury.3 They had seven sons and two daughters, named James(?), Benjamin, Matthew, Nathan, Joshua, John, Luke, Esther and Nancy.
