Henry's father was Lister (Lester) Farrer and his mother was Lillie Hodgson. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Farrer and Ann (Annie) Elizabeth Lister. He had a brother and a sister, named Jack and Edith. He was the youngest of the three known children. He died at the age of 57 on November 20th, 1963 in Utah (UT).
