Mary Farnworth

Mary was born in March 1875 in Farnworth and her baptism took place on May 16th, 1875 at St. John the Evangelist (Failsworth).¹²

Mary's father was Moses Farnworth and her mother was Betsy Mather. Her maternal grandparents were Hugh Mather and Alice Crompton. She had four brothers and four sisters, named James, James, Abraham, Robert, Elizabeth, Alice, Ada and Jane. She was the sixth oldest of the nine known children.
