William (Willie) Fairclough

William, known as Willie, was born on December 27th, 1923 in Tranmere.¹

Birth Notes
- Born at 64 Whitford Road, Tranmere, Birkenhead,

Willie's father was William Fairclough and his mother was Annie Elliot Judge. His maternal grandparents were James (Jim) Judge and Ellen Ann Timmis. He was an only child. He died at the age of 57 on November 14th, 1981 in Bebington.¹

General Notes
- Willia married and had a daughter, Gillian Fairclough. She married and had two sons.
  
  William served in the Airborn Division in Palestine during WW2

Occupation Details
- From before 1939 to after 1960 Willie's occupation was Apprentice Motor Mechanic full time for Storton Engineering, in Bebington.
