George Alexander Eddowes

George was born in June 1867 in Birkenhead.¹

George's father was John Eddowes and his mother was Phoebe Parry. His paternal grandparents were John Eddowes and Mary Whitfield; his maternal grandparents were John Parry and Martha Dutton. He had two brothers and five sisters, named John, Albert, Martha, Mary, Emily, Clara and Elizabeth. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 51 in 1918 in Wallasey.²
