Maria Davies

Maria was born in September 1835 in Holt and her baptism took place on September 6th, 1835 in Wrexham.¹

Maria's father was John Davies and her mother was Ann Whitfield. Her maternal grandparents were John Whitfield and Mary Tomlinson. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Robert, Joseph, Thomas, John, Mary, Elizabeth, Sarah and Catherine. She was the sixth oldest of the nine children. She died whilst giving birth at the age of 34 in June 1870 in Wrexham.²
