John Crook

John was born in 1760 in Bolton and his baptism took place on November 23rd, 1760.¹

John's father was John Crook and his mother was Ann Parkinson. His paternal grandparents were Mordicai Crook and Alice Crompton. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Mordicai, Mordicai, John, James, Margaret, Ann, Elizabeth, Alice and Ann. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 1 in January 1761 in Bolton. He was buried on January 22nd, 1761 at St. Peter's (Bolton).²
