John Crook

John was born in 1774 in Bolton and his baptism took place on July 3rd, 1774 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹²

John's father was John Crook and his mother was Ann Parkinson. His paternal grandparents were Mordicai Crook and Alice Crompton. He had four brothers and five sisters, named John, Mordicai, Mordicai, James, Margaret, Ann, Elizabeth, Alice and Ann. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 73 on October 31st, 1847 in Bolton. He was buried on October 31st, 1847 at St. Peter's (Bolton).³
