Miles Crompton

Miles' father was James Crompton and his mother was Margaret Mather.  His maternal grandparents were Richard Mather and Ann Marsden. He had five brothers and two sisters, named James, Ellias, Richard, Benjamin, Daniel, Mary and Ann.  He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 6 in March 1861 in Great Lever.¹
