James Crompton

James was born in June 1852 in Halliwell.¹

Birth Notes

James' father was James Crompton and his mother was Margaret Mather. His maternal grandparents were Richard Mather and Ann Marsden. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Miles, Ellias, Richard, Benjamin, Daniel, Mary and Ann. He was the third oldest of the eight children.
