Ann Crompton

Ann was born in December 1849 in Halliwell.¹

Ann's father was James Crompton and her mother was Margaret Mather. Her maternal grandparents were Richard Mather and Ann Marsden. She had six brothers and a sister, named James, Miles, Ellias, Richard, Benjamin, Daniel and Mary. She was the second oldest of the eight children.
