James Clutton

James was born in March 1864 in Is-y-Coed and his baptism took place there on October 4th, 1867.¹²

James' father was James (John) Clutton and his mother was Mary Ann Eddowes. His maternal grandparents were John Eddowes and Mary Whitfield. He had three brothers and three sisters, named John, Thomas, William, Mary, Lucy and Eleanor. He was the sixth oldest of the seven children. He had a half-sister named Mary. He died at the age of 34 on May 28th, 1898 in Is-y-Coed.³
