Charles was born in 1903 in Blackburn.¹

Birth Notes

Charles' father was Thomas Clarkson and his mother was Mary Smith. His paternal grandparents were William Clarkson and Sarah Collings. He had six sisters named Sarah, Elizabeth, Ethel, Sarah, Mary and Alice. He was the youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 1 in 1904 in Blackburn.¹
