William Henry Brereton

William was born on November 1st, 1859 in Liverpool.¹ William's father was Richard Brereton and his mother was Elizabeth Carr. His paternal grandparents were Richard Brereton and (Elizabeth) Ellen Lea. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Richard, Thomas, George, Mary, Elizabeth, Sarah and Martha. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 79 on November 16th, 1938.
