Thomas was born in July 1832 in Bolton and his baptism took place on July 18th, 1831.¹²

Birth Notes

Thomas' father was William Booth and his mother was Jane Rostron. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Booth and Alice Scowcroft; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Rostron and Mary Holt. He had four brothers and three sisters, named James, John, Richard, William, Mary, Alice and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the eight children.
