Jane was born on February 8th, 1807 in Bolton.1  Jane's father was Thomas Rostron and her mother was Mary Holt.  Her maternal grandparents were Edmund Holt and Ellen Hamers.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 61 in 1868.
