William Booth

William was born in September 1849 in Bolton.¹

  Possibly son of Peter Booth and Mary Rostron who married at Bolton 11 Oct 1847 but no baptism for either pair of parents.

William's father was William Booth and his mother was Jane Rostron. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Booth and Alice Scowcroft; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Rostron and Mary Holt. He had four brothers and three sisters, named James, Thomas, John, Richard, Mary, Alice and Elizabeth. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at 6 months old in March 1850 in Bolton.¹
